A heart felt thank you

What can I say. I went on this retreat hoping for some rest, exercise and relaxation, hoping to get my body and mind back on track. I got that and so, so much more! I started the week thinking, I’m going to try everything but I’m worried I won’t be any good at it. Well I was guided and encouraged so perfectly, I ended up craving the next yoga class/ PT session. The exercise was not only achievable for my low level of experience but also so much fun. This is where the team came into their element. Such beautiful, open, calm, caring, fun and entertaining people. Their energy and open spirit was contagious throughout the group. I could physically see everyone relaxing and unwinding around me. We bonded and it made the stay even more special. Now for the food. I didn’t think I would enjoy a vegetarian diet as much as I did. Everything was nourishing and delicious. I don’t feel I was missing out on anything....EVEN WINE! I really enjoyed being clear headed and my energy improved daily from not drinking. Coupled with the regular exercise it also really improved my body shape and excess weight dropped. So I have continued a mainly vegetarian diet now. Olly needs to write a recipe book! The setting couldnt have been more perfect. Dining al fresco some evenings. Walking into the quaint little village near by. Cooling off with a solitary swim after an energetic session, looking out to the stunning vista. Then after what for me was an intense and mind blowing sound therapy session with meditation and reiki, I would wander off into the trees and sit in the sunlight overlooking the hills and release. This was exactly what I needed. Right there and then. Finally the massage . THES BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD.....EVER! Lucy is the dream. Then there’s Lisa! Our go to woman, no problem too big or small. Constantly making sure we were comfortable and looked after. I would highly recommend this retreat! Infact I’m booked on the next one in April! Bring it on ! Namaste

Ever just wanted to stand up and scream: we have the solution. For the next 5 minutes do this: Stretch your arms up to the sky and bring them back down in a circle, keep this going. At the same time breathe in as your raise  hold for 4 counts and exhale as you lower, if your on your own exhale with a sound(we like arrgghh) Voila feeling refreshed? Now continue your day.
